Helping our Libraries Help our Community

The Jefferson County Library Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (C) (3) of the IRS Code. The Foundation is not a government agency; it receives no public funding. Rather, the Foundation relies upon fundraising and private contributions.

In essence, we are Jefferson County Public Library's private partners - augmenting tax dollars with private contributions.
